Post 7 : Medicinal Plants

Hello!! Today the topic is about medicinal plants, a very interesting topic to discuss, because there are several opinions about their functionality. Some people are against the use of medicinal plants for curing a disease, whereas some other people agree to use them. I’m part of this group, because it’s a natural option and doesn’t produce any addiction.

I can say that I normally use some plants. I like drinking shakes and infusions almost every day, with ginger, mint, boldo, chamomile, oregano, etc. I use them, since they are good for my health, helping to eliminate toxins, reduces troubles related with indigestion and they also help to lose weight. These properties are important for me, because I usually suffer from stomach ache (I eat something at lunch or breakfast and immediately I feel some malaise on my stomach). For that reason, I’m used to drinking them, in the morning and evening, practically every day.
I always recommend to make these infusions, not only for the properties but also because they are very tasty and refreshing.

In my house, we have some plants in our vegetable garden, such as stevia, mint and oregano. They are very rustic plants, because I don’t take care of them frequently, and they are so big and good.

Definitely is good to have our medicinal plants, because is a better way to make infusions; also we can incorporate them on our food.

I hope you can try making infusions with some medicinal plants, It’s so much better!! :)
